PUBLIC SPEAKING PROGRAM
Content:
- Through counseling, discussion and demonstrations, guide students in preparing speeches, reading afterthoughts
using oratorical techniques.
- Rectify incorrect techniques of voice projection and improve their charisma while making speeches.
- Help prepare students for oratory competitions.
- Introduce the techniques of interviews for TV and radio.
- Mock practices on Oral Examinations and interviews.
- Teach the students the techniques of better communication and listening skills.
Objectives:
- Raise the students' oratorical skills and build up their confidence.
- Help students grasp the proper techniques to project their voices.
- Improve the students' communication and listening skills.
- Encourage active reading and creative afterthoughts concerning what they have read.
- Raise the passing rate of Oral Examinations and interviews.
